FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

SESSIONS:
​
I work with clients in weekly, recurring 50-minute sessions. In some cases, we may meet more frequently, but all new clients begin with a weekly commitment to support continuity and depth in the work.
​
For couples, a 90-minute session is often appropriate for an initial intake in order to get a more comprehensive understanding of the relationship.
​
I see client in person and work via telehealth, meaning sessions are held by secure video or phone. This format works well for many people, though it may not be the right fit for everyone.
​
My standard fee is $300 for a 50-minute session.
​
I also hold a limited number of sliding scale spaces in my practice. If cost is a concern, you’re welcome to ask about current availability during a consultation call.

INSURANCE:
​
I do not accept insurance, however many insurance providers / PPO plans will reimburse for out-of-network therapy costs or count the out-of-pocket fees toward your deductible so it is worth exploring the specifics of your plan. The monthly paperwork I provide for this is called a “superbill” which will include any applicable diagnostic codes. (Note: most insurance companies require the disclosure of applicable diagnosis codes and may not reimburse for every diagnosis.) I am unable to answer further questions on the subject as you’ll need to speak directly with your insurance carrier to learn more about their policies and your benefits.

CANCELLATIONS:

Cancellation outside of 24 hours will not incur a fee.
Cancellation within 24 hours is billed full session fee.
